As the Wheel Turns.. September is one of my favorite months in the Berkshires. After the hub bub and chaos of summer, September is such a blessing. September feels like a fresh start but without the pressure of new years resolution. September feels like an old friend that always has time for a chat and a cup of tea. September feels like a big, long exhale after running around all day. The energy of September is equal part rest and cozy and magnetic and energized and...I very much love it. But...

As we say Goodbye to July... July has flown by (as it usually does here in the Berkshires). On one hand, I am happy to see July in the rearview. I often forget that living and owning small business in the Berkshires means I don't sit down or even have a second to breathe from June 15th to July 15th. It's a beautiful and abundant time but it is also a chaotic and sometimes stressful time. It aligns well with the natural world... nature is blooming with abundance and activity. On the other...

Happy July! Summer is kicking in the Berkshires and the warm weather has me wishing I was on a floatie in the middle of the ocean somewhere some days. At the same time, I do love Berkshire summer-- the sunsets, the lake, the garden. It's what I look forward too all winter. I think it's important in the joy (and chaos) of summer to slow down too. To soak in all the natural world has to offer and to have some days to just be. I'm not quite sure where that fits into my summer plans but I do know...

Happy June! It is almost officially Summer in the Berkshires -- maybe it is near you too? I have definitely been feeling the influx of people and energy in the Berkshires. It is equal parts exhilarating and energizing as it is exhausting and overwhelming. As a small business owner that relies on tourism, I have to remind myself to take a pause from time to time and TRULY enjoy the summer, not just keep plugging away because the opportunities are endless. So, in case you're like me and need...

Hi friends! I hope you are an enjoying a beautiful Spring Day. While I am ever grateful that the weather is warming up, I cannot forgot how cold and dark this winter was.... which means I am planning ahead. In hopes of staving off some of the Northeast winter, I am planning February 14th-20th, 2027 to Bocas del Toro, Panama, and I would love to have you. I am planning a deeply restorative and nourishing reset for us this retreat. Not only is there more time to soak in the sun, swim at the...

Hi Friends, How are you doing today? I don't know about you but February as flown by.... which I think is a blessing. I always want and try to enjoy the season that I am in but every February, I am tested by this. So a small part of my is relieved that we are almost in March, while also recognizing that I don't want to wish time away. With that all said, it does feel exciting to start to look ahead to Spring and Summer... to plan the garden, to think about hiking, to daydream about lake swims...

Hi Friends, Happy Small Business Saturday! I wrote a little something on instagram that I wanted to share with you all here as well. I have owned my physical therapy and wellness company, Live Good, Feel Good, since 2019 and owned Yoga Lee since January of 2024. They are two very different businesses but equally as important to me over the years. Owning a small business is not for the weak of heart and there are some days where I truly wonder what the f*ck I was thinking (LOL). There are so...

HI Friends, It's been a minute since I've been in your inbox. Last we spoke, it was end of June-- the sun was high in the sky, a heatwave as hitting and I was preparing for a summer full of outdoor yoga. And now, it's mid November-- I am in fuzzy socks and a fuzzy sweater as I sip on hot tea and kakao. There is already snow on the ground and I am wondering where the heck the year has gone. 2025 has been a wild ride for me and to be quite frank, it has been a challenging year in so many ways....

Happy Summer! Happy heatwave in the Northeast-- I hope you are all staying cool and enjoying some sort of water-- yesterday, we found a new spot to go swimming in the Berkshires and it was exactly what we was needed. I'm half tempted to pop myself into our kiddie pool (for our dog) and send my emails from there. Summer in the Berkshires is in full swing-- our garden is demanding more attention and time than we have, the studio is popping with summer folks and tourists, Tanglewood has started...
