Happy Summer!Happy heatwave in the Northeast-- I hope you are all staying cool and enjoying some sort of water-- yesterday, we found a new spot to go swimming in the Berkshires and it was exactly what we was needed. I'm half tempted to pop myself into our kiddie pool (for our dog) and send my emails from there. Summer in the Berkshires is in full swing-- our garden is demanding more attention and time than we have, the studio is popping with summer folks and tourists, Tanglewood has started and all I want to do is swim and hike:) Kidding-- I am actually so excited for a summer of YOGA. Last year, I was so deep in hoping that the studio survived it's first year, I don't really remember the teaching part. I am so excited to teach classes and get to know the new faces and just generally enjoy the energy of summer in the Berkshires. On top of that, I am finalizing some details on a continuing education class for Yoga teachers and I am so excited. I have a few more details to finalize and would LOVE to hear from any of my yoga teachers on this list! If you are a yoga teacher would you fill this out? Lastly, I will be working on all things Nourished-- our online platform over at Yoga Lee. We will be having LIVE classes weekly starting in July, more uploads and more fun to explore. If you are interested in moving with my online, check out the link below for a free week of Nourished!

As the Wheel Turns.. September is one of my favorite months in the Berkshires. After the hub bub and chaos of summer, September is such a blessing. September feels like a fresh start but without the pressure of new years resolution. September feels like an old friend that always has time for a chat and a cup of tea. September feels like a big, long exhale after running around all day. The energy of September is equal part rest and cozy and magnetic and energized and...I very much love it. But...
As we say Goodbye to July... July has flown by (as it usually does here in the Berkshires). On one hand, I am happy to see July in the rearview. I often forget that living and owning small business in the Berkshires means I don't sit down or even have a second to breathe from June 15th to July 15th. It's a beautiful and abundant time but it is also a chaotic and sometimes stressful time. It aligns well with the natural world... nature is blooming with abundance and activity. On the other...
Happy July! Summer is kicking in the Berkshires and the warm weather has me wishing I was on a floatie in the middle of the ocean somewhere some days. At the same time, I do love Berkshire summer-- the sunsets, the lake, the garden. It's what I look forward too all winter. I think it's important in the joy (and chaos) of summer to slow down too. To soak in all the natural world has to offer and to have some days to just be. I'm not quite sure where that fits into my summer plans but I do know...
